Sweden (X tons) was the main destination for man-made filament yarn exports from Norway, with a 39% share of total exports. Imports peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, man-made filament yarn imports shrank remarkably to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 131%. Imports peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Lithuania (X tons), Latvia (X tons) and Belarus (X tons) were the main suppliers of man-made filament yarn imports to Norway, with a combined 96% share of total imports.
