In 2022, the amount of green beans imported into Oman fell to X tons, with a decrease of -5.3% on the previous year. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 139%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

Iran (X tons), Pakistan (X tons) and India (X tons) were the main suppliers of green bean imports to Oman, together accounting for 83% of total imports. Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 14%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Qatar (with a CAGR of +94.2%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Pakistan ($X) constituted the largest supplier of green beans to Oman, comprising 37% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by India ($X), with an 18% share of total imports. It was followed by Iran, with a 14% share.
