After four years of growth, the Omani toy market decreased by -0.9% to $X in 2021. Toy imports into Oman expanded remarkably to X tons in 2021, surging by 14% against 2020 figures. China (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Iran (X tons) were the main suppliers of toy imports to Oman, with a combined 98% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Iran (with a CAGR of +145.3%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.
In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) constituted the largest supplier of dolls and toys to Oman, comprising 65% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by China ($X), with a 30% share of total imports.
