In 2022, purchases abroad of dry vegetables decreased by -40.4% to X tons, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 93%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, dry vegetable imports reduced notably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, posted a strong increase.
