Yemen (X tons), Qatar (X tons) and the United Arab Emirates (X tons) were the main destinations of durum wheat exports from Oman.

Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 3,073%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, durum wheat imports expanded notably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, faced a abrupt decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by 2,026%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

The United Arab Emirates (X tons), India (X tons) and Yemen (X tons) were the main suppliers of durum wheat imports to Oman, with a combined 95% share of total imports.
