In 2022, the amount of glass fibre mats imported into Oman expanded slightly to X tons, growing by 4.3% against 2021. In general, imports continue to indicate strong growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 79%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, glass fibre mat imports declined modestly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a buoyant expansion.
