The United Arab Emirates (X tons) was the main destination for non-alloy aluminium bar exports from Oman, accounting for a 44% share of total exports. Moreover, non-alloy aluminium bar exports to the United Arab Emirates exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Saudi Arabia (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Yemen (X tons), with an 8.6% share.

Imports peaked at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, non-alloy aluminium bar imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a pronounced reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 44% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, the United Arab Emirates (X tons) constituted the largest non-alloy aluminium bar supplier to Oman, accounting for a 81% share of total imports.
