In 2022, after three years of growth, there was decline in shipments abroad of process control, gate, globe and other valves, when their volume decreased by -2.3% to X tons. Overall, exports, however, saw significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 754%. Over the period under review, the exports of reached the peak figure at X tons in 2021, and then fell slightly in the following year.

In value terms, exports of process control, gate, globe and other valves shrank to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, enjoyed a prominent increase. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports decreased by -7.9% against 2020 indices.
