In value terms, register book imports shrank notably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports showed a strong expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 74% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, China (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of register book to Oman, with a 76% share of total imports.
