From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, whey imports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, faced a deep slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 240% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

The United Arab Emirates (X tons), Poland (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main suppliers of whey imports to Oman, with a combined 50% share of total imports.
