Barley Market Size in Pakistan

Afghanistan (X tons) was the main destination for barley exports from Pakistan, with a 86% share of total exports. Moreover, barley exports to Afghanistan exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Oman (X tons), eightfold.

In value terms, barley imports fell rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a slight downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 310% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
