After two years of growth, the Pakistani green bean market decreased by -9.8% to $X in 2022. Overall, consumption, however, posted a buoyant increase. Over the period under review, the market attained the peak level at $X in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 427%. The exports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

The United Arab Emirates (X tons), Tajikistan (X tons) and Oman (X tons) were the main destinations of green bean exports from Pakistan, with a combined 76% share of total exports. The UK, Bahrain, Kuwait and Canada lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 24%.
