The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by 717%. The exports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Vietnam (X tons), Qatar (X tons) and Hong Kong SAR (X tons) were the main destinations of fresh whole chicken exports from Pakistan, with a combined 89% share of total exports.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 138% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, fresh whole chicken imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a abrupt downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 264% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
