In 2022, tomato juice imports into Panama soared to X tons, increasing by 20% against the previous year's figure. Overall, imports posted a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 18,046% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, tomato juice imports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 24,423%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

The United States (X tons), Mexico (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) were the main suppliers of tomato juice imports to Panama, together accounting for 92% of total imports.
