In 2022, the amount of cheese and curd imported into Peru fell to X tons, shrinking by -13.2% compared with 2021 figures. In general, imports, however, showed a buoyant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 36% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons, and then declined in the following year.

Argentina, the Netherlands, Mexico, Chile, Italy, Spain, France and New Zealand lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 32%.
