Dairy Machinery Market Size in Peru

In 2022, the Peruvian dairy machinery market decreased by -18.3% to $X for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year rising trend. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 412% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X units in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, dairy machinery imports dropped notably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 513%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Uruguay (X units) constituted the largest dairy machinery supplier to Peru, accounting for a 31% share of total imports. Moreover, dairy machinery imports from Uruguay exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Sweden (X units), threefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Spain (X units), with an 11% share.
