As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

Overall, imports continue to indicate prominent growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of 80%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, furnace burner imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 57%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

China (X tons), South Korea (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main suppliers of furnace burner imports to Peru, together comprising 74% of total imports. Norway, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Greece and India lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 17%.
