Over the period under review, imports, however, enjoyed a tangible expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 112% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X units in 2021, and then declined in the following year.

In value terms, non-electric motor handtools imports declined modestly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern.
