Pork Market Size in Peru

The Peruvian pork market dropped to $X in 2022, standing approx. at the previous year. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 304% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 46% against the previous year. Chile (X tons), the United States (X tons) and Canada (X tons) were the main suppliers of pork imports to Peru, together comprising 86% of total imports. Spain lagged somewhat behind, accounting for a further 14%.
