Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, vegetable puree exports surged to $X in 2022. In general, exports showed a dramatic decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 119% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, vegetable puree imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, faced a deep slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 275%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, the United States (X tons) was the main supplier of vegetable puree to Peru, with a 90% share of total imports. Moreover, vegetable puree imports from the United States exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, China (X kg), more than tenfold.
