The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 64% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

In value terms, activated carbon imports surged to $X in 2022. In general, imports posted a resilient increase. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

China (X tons), India (X tons) and Vietnam (X tons) were the main suppliers of activated carbon imports to the Philippines, with a combined 85% share of total imports.
