Non-domestic dryer imports into the Philippines shrank markedly to X units in 2021, reducing by -22.9% compared with the previous year's figure. Overall, total imports indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.1% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -1.8% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by 51%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X units in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
