From 2015 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, cows skin exports reduced remarkably to $X in 2021. In general, exports faced a dramatic shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 3,597% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

Cows skin imports into the Philippines contracted sharply to X tons in 2021, reducing by -76.6% compared with the year before. Overall, imports showed a deep downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 42% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, cows skin imports fell dramatically to $X in 2021. In general, imports saw a abrupt decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 223%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then plummeted in the following year.
