In value terms, non-mineral or non-aerated water imports rose to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 95%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.

In 2021, France (X litres) constituted the largest non-mineral or non-aerated water supplier to the Philippines, accounting for a 33% share of total imports. Moreover, non-mineral or non-aerated water imports from France exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Fiji (X litres), twofold. The third position in this ranking was taken by the United States (X litres), with a 14% share.

In 2021, the average non-mineral or non-aerated water import price amounted to $X per litre, with a decrease of -38.2% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average import price increased by 159%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per litre, and then reduced markedly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per litre), while the price for China ($X per litre) was amongst the lowest.
