Latvia (X tons) was the main destination for lubricating oil additive exports from Poland, accounting for a 39% share of total exports. Moreover, lubricating oil additive exports to Latvia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Germany (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Bulgaria (X tons), with a 6.8% share.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Lithuania ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Latvia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Saudi Arabia (+41.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Poland
In 2021, approx. X tons of additives for lubricating oils were imported into Poland; picking up by 2.1% on the year before. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.7% over the period from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations being observed in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 18%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, France (X tons) constituted the largest lubricating oil additive supplier to Poland, accounting for a 58% share of total imports. Moreover, lubricating oil additive imports from France exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by the Netherlands (X tons), with a 7.3% share.
