For the third consecutive year, the Polish market for tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles recorded growth in sales value, which increased by 27% to $X in 2022. In general, the total consumption indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, consumption increased by +71.8% against 2019 indices. As a result, consumption attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, production of tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles reduced to $X in 2022 estimated in export price. The total output value increased at an average annual rate of +2.0% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 20% against the previous year. As a result, production reached the peak level of $X. From 2018 to 2022, production of growth remained at a lower figure.

Exports from Poland
After two years of growth, shipments abroad of tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles decreased by -38.7% to X units in 2022. Overall, exports, however, recorded mild growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 33%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X units, and then shrank significantly in the following year.
In value terms, exports of tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles expanded rapidly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by 19%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of the exports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Exports by Country
France (X units), Germany (X units) and Serbia (X units) were the main destinations of exports of tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles from Poland, with a combined 40% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Serbia (with a CAGR of +56.7%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, France ($X), Germany ($X) and the UK ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for agricultural, construction and industrial machinery tyre exported from Poland worldwide, with a combined 52% share of total exports. The United States, Italy, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Serbia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 29%.
Serbia, with a CAGR of +45.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The average export price for tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles stood at $X per unit in 2022, jumping by 73% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a slight curtailment. The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Serbia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+4.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Tyres For Agriculture, Forestry, Construction, Industry And Other Off The Road Vehicles
Imports into Poland
After two years of growth, purchases abroad of tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles decreased by -14.6% to X units in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 38% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then dropped in the following year.
In value terms, imports of tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles amounted to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a measured expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 40% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
Imports by Country
China (X units), Indonesia (X units) and India (X units) were the main suppliers of imports of tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles to Poland, with a combined 73% share of total imports. Vietnam, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan (Chinese) and Germany lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 20%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Slovakia (with a CAGR of +57.6%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest agricultural, construction and industrial machinery tyre suppliers to Poland were India ($X), China ($X) and the Czech Republic ($X), with a combined 45% share of total imports. Slovakia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Germany, Taiwan (Chinese) and Vietnam lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 20%.
Slovakia, with a CAGR of +52.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The average import price for tyres for agriculture, forestry, construction, industry and other off the road vehicles stood at $X per unit in 2022, jumping by 18% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a perceptible curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average import price increased by 29%. The import price peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($X per unit), while the price for Vietnam ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+4.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
