In 2019, India (X tons), distantly followed by the U.S. (X tons), Turkey (X tons), Italy (X tons) and China (X tons) represented the major exporters of bentonite, together constituting X% of total exports. Slovakia (X tons), Azerbaijan (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Greece (X tons) occupied a minor share of total exports.

Japan, China, Thailand, France, the UK, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Malaysia and Italy lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2019, the bentonite import price in Poland amounted to $X per ton, waning by -X% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2010 when the import price increased by X% year-to-year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2011 to 2019, the growth in terms of the import prices failed to regain the momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest price was China ($X per ton), while Indonesia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
