Germany (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Spain (X tons) were the main destinations of exports of clays for construction and industrial use from Poland, together comprising 61% of total exports. The Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Armenia, Austria, Ukraine, Norway, Russia, Italy and Belgium lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 32%.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, imports of clays for construction and industrial use contracted slightly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports recorded pronounced growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 108% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a slight expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 83% against the previous year.
