In value terms, crispbread imports rose sharply to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +1.4% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 18% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

Germany (X tons), Italy (X tons) and Ireland (X tons) were the main suppliers of crispbread imports to Poland, with a combined 92% share of total imports. These countries were followed by the Netherlands and Latvia, which together accounted for a further 5.9%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by the Netherlands (with a CAGR of +55.6%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest crispbread suppliers to Poland were Germany ($X), Italy ($X) and Ireland ($X), together comprising 92% of total imports. The Netherlands and Latvia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 5.8%.
