The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 154% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

In value terms, envelope imports contracted to $X in 2021. Overall, imports showed a buoyant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 156% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then contracted in the following year.

In 2021, Germany (X tons) constituted the largest envelope supplier to Poland, accounting for a 78% share of total imports. Moreover, envelope imports from Germany exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, China (X tons), more than tenfold.
