Germany (X units), Hungary (X units) and Ukraine (X units) were the main destinations of hair, shaving and toilet brush exports from Poland, together accounting for 44% of total exports. Romania, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the UK, Croatia, Italy, Slovakia, France, Austria and Bulgaria lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 31%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Austria (with a CAGR of +45.8%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Poland
In 2022, after six years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of hair brushes and shaving and toilet brushes for personal use, when their volume decreased by -21.1% to X units. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a resilient increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 63%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then fell markedly in the following year.
In value terms, hair, shaving and toilet brush imports totaled $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, saw a resilient expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 39%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

China (X units), Germany (X units) and South Korea (X units) were the main suppliers of hair, shaving and toilet brush imports to Poland, together accounting for 90% of total imports. The UK, Malaysia and Hong Kong SAR lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 5%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Malaysia (with a CAGR of +113.6%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
