In 2022, after two years of decline, there was growth in the Polish inedible fish products market, when its value increased by 3.8% to $X. In 2022, inedible fish products imports into Poland soared to X tons, picking up by 35% on 2021. In general, imports continue to indicate a measured expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 70% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, inedible fish products imports fell to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 76% against the previous year.
