The Polish lemon and lime market contracted slightly to $X in 2022, remaining constant against the previous year. Ukraine (X tons) was the main destination for lemon and lime exports from Poland, with a 87% share of total exports. In value terms, Ukraine ($X) remains the key foreign market for lemons and limes exports from Poland, comprising 87% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Lithuania ($X), with a 3.7% share of total exports. It was followed by the UK, with a 2.2% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Ukraine stood at -9.0%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Lithuania (+1.8% per year) and the UK (+37.1% per year).

The average lemon and lime export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, growing by 18% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.3%. From 2017 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Brazil ($X per ton), while the price for Turkey ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
