The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 22% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then shrank in the following year.

China (X units), Romania (X units) and Italy (X units) were the main suppliers of mattress imports to Poland, with a combined 59% share of total imports. Germany, Serbia, Slovakia, Denmark, Turkey, the United States, Lithuania and the UK lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 32%.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the highest price was recorded for prices from Serbia ($X per unit) and China ($X per unit), while the price for Turkey ($X per unit) and the United States ($X per unit) were amongst the lowest.
