The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of 18%. The exports peaked at X litres in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exports rose slightly to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a buoyant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when exports increased by 30% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Exports by Country
Germany (X litres), the Czech Republic (X litres) and France (X litres) were the main destinations of non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exports from Poland, with a combined 37% share of total exports. Romania, the UK, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, the Netherlands, Italy and the United States lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 47%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for the Netherlands (with a CAGR of +35.5%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exported from Poland were Germany ($X), France ($X) and the UK ($X), with a combined 37% share of total exports. The Netherlands, with a CAGR of +30.9%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average export price for non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk amounted to $X per litre, declining by -5% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a modest increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 20%. The export price peaked at $X per litre in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per litre), while the average price for exports to Slovakia ($X per litre) was amongst the lowest.

For the third year in a row, Poland recorded growth in supplies from abroad of non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk, which increased by 8.3% to X litres in 2022. Over the period under review, imports posted resilient growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 156% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
In value terms, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk imports rose sharply to $X in 2022. Overall, imports enjoyed a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 76% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Germany (X litres) constituted the largest supplier of non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk to Poland, accounting for a 48% share of total imports. Moreover, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk imports from Germany exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Belgium (X litres), fivefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Austria (X litres), with a 7.6% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from Germany stood at +17.4%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Belgium (+22.2% per year) and Austria (+18.8% per year).
In value terms, Germany ($X) constituted the largest supplier of non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk to Poland, comprising 51% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Netherlands ($X), with a 14% share of total imports. It was followed by Austria, with a 5.2% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Germany totaled +18.7%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the Netherlands (+16.0% per year) and Austria (+14.9% per year).
Import Prices by Country
In 2022, the average import price for non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk amounted to $X per litre, with an increase of 1.9% against the previous year. In general, the import price enjoyed modest growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 107%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $X per litre in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($X per litre), while the price for Belgium ($X per litre) was amongst the lowest.
