The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +93.7% against 2016 indices. In 2021, Spain (X tons) constituted the largest preserved olive supplier to Poland, accounting for a 71% share of total imports. Moreover, preserved olive imports from Spain exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Greece (X tons), eightfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Germany (X tons), with a 7.2% share.
