In 2021, the amount of parts of boilers for central heating exported from Poland surged to X tons, picking up by 25% against the year before. Over the period under review, total exports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.5% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports decreased by -1.6% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 40% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, boiler parts exports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, exports enjoyed a buoyant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 77%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Exports by Country
Austria (X tons) was the main destination for boiler parts exports from Poland, accounting for a 51% share of total exports. Moreover, boiler parts exports to Austria exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Germany (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Switzerland (X tons), with a 15% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of volume to Austria totaled +6.9%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (+3.4% per year) and Switzerland (+15.2% per year).
In value terms, Austria ($X), Germany ($X) and Switzerland ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for boiler parts exported from Poland worldwide, with a combined 72% share of total exports. Turkey, Italy, France and Norway lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 13%.
In terms of the main countries of destination, Turkey, with a CAGR of +85.8%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average boiler parts export price stood at $X per ton in 2021, reducing by -4.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a slight decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average export price increased by 27% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2019 to 2021, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Austria ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+8.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, supplies from abroad of parts of boilers for central heating increased by 97% to X tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year declining trend. In general, total imports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.4% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Overall, total imports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +7.4% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Imports by Country
Austria (X tons), Italy (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of boiler parts imports to Poland, together accounting for 83% of total imports. Turkey, Bulgaria, France, Latvia, the Czech Republic and Denmark lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 10%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Turkey (with a CAGR of +34.7%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest boiler parts suppliers to Poland were Italy ($X), Germany ($X) and Austria ($X), with a combined 79% share of total imports. These countries were followed by France, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Turkey, Latvia and Denmark, which together accounted for a further 8.5%.

In 2021, the average boiler parts import price amounted to $X per ton, falling by -22.6% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 18% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $X per ton in 2020, and then declined remarkably in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($X per ton), while the price for Latvia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+23.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
