In 2022, supplies from abroad of playing cards increased by 24% to X tons, rising for the fifth consecutive year after two years of decline. In general, imports showed significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 94% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, playing cards imports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 139%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
Imports by Country
In 2022, China (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of playing cards to Poland, accounting for a 38% share of total imports. Moreover, playing cards imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Belgium (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Germany (X tons), with an 18% share.
