Pumpkin Market Size in Poland

The Polish pumpkin market totaled $X in 2022, picking up by 3.3% against the previous year. In general, consumption, however, continues to indicate a buoyant expansion. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2021, and then fell slightly in the following year.

In value terms, pumpkin exports expanded to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, saw a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when exports increased by 47% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

Germany (X tons), Italy (X tons) and Slovakia (X tons) were the main destinations of pumpkin exports from Poland, together accounting for 48% of total exports.

Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, pumpkin imports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a prominent increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 60% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

In 2022, Spain (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of pumpkin to Poland, with a 64% share of total imports. Moreover, pumpkin imports from Spain exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X tons), threefold.
