Belgium (X tons), Lithuania (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main destinations of rabbit meat exports from Poland, together comprising 83% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Belgium (with a CAGR of +656.9%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for rabbit meat exported from Poland were Lithuania ($X), Germany ($X) and Belgium ($X), together comprising 81% of total exports.

In 2022, approx. X tons of rabbit or hare meat were imported into Poland; increasing by 66% compared with 2021. Over the period under review, imports saw a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 2,947%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, rabbit meat imports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 2,301%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
