Imports peaked at X units in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, railway passenger coach imports declined remarkably to $X in 2022. In general, imports saw a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 305,069% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Slovakia (X units) constituted the largest supplier of railway passenger coach to Poland, accounting for a 77% share of total imports. Moreover, railway passenger coach imports from Slovakia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Bulgaria (X units), threefold.
