In value terms, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry exports fell to $X in 2022. In general, exports saw strong growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when exports increased by 45% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.

Germany (X tons) was the main destination for raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry exports from Poland, accounting for a 35% share of total exports. For the eleventh year in a row, Poland recorded growth in overseas purchases of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and cranberries, which increased by 38% to X tons in 2022. Overall, imports showed a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 89%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

In value terms, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 92%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Imports by Country

Spain (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry imports to Poland, with a combined 61% share of total imports. Morocco, Peru, Ukraine and Chile lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 27%.
