Thailand (X tons) was the main destination for reclaimed rubber exports from Poland, with a 65% share of total exports. Over the period under review, imports showed a abrupt setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 90% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, reclaimed rubber imports shrank to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 193% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

Russia (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of reclaimed rubber imports to Poland, with a combined 75% share of total imports. Spain, Ukraine, China, Austria and India lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 20%.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Spain (with a CAGR of +101.1%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
