The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 30% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

The Netherlands (X tons), Germany (X tons) and the UK (X tons) were the main destinations of exports of salted, dried or smoked meat, and offal from Poland, with a combined 46% share of total exports. Hungary, Spain, Denmark, Lithuania, Romania, Ghana, Austria, Slovakia, Latvia and the Czech Republic lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 44%.

In 2022, the amount of salted, dried or smoked meat, and offal imported into Poland rose significantly to X tons, growing by 11% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports saw a strong expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 47% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

Imports by Country
In 2022, Germany (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of salted, dried or smoked meat, and offal to Poland, accounting for a 49% share of total imports. Moreover, imports of salted, dried or smoked meat, and offal from Germany exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Spain (X tons), with a 14% share.
