Spain (X tons) was the main destination for table-tennis equipment exports from Portugal, with a 60% share of total exports. Moreover, table-tennis equipment exports to Spain exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Belgium (X tons), fourfold. In value terms, table-tennis equipment imports reduced to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 73%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.

In 2022, Italy (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of table-tennis equipment to Portugal, with a 38% share of total imports. Moreover, table-tennis equipment imports from Italy exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, France (X tons), twofold.
