Overall, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 91% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, bromides, iodides and oxids thereof imports fell significantly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 47% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The Netherlands (X tons), Spain (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of bromides, iodides and oxids thereof imports to Portugal, with a combined 100% share of total imports.
