Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
In value terms, exports of organo-sulphur compounds and other organo-inorganic compounds contracted to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, recorded a noticeable curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 71%. Over the period under review, the exports of reached the maximum at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The second position in the ranking was taken by Angola ($X), with a 10% share of total exports. It was followed by Nigeria, with a 6.2% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Spain amounted to +4.7%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Angola (+67.6% per year) and Nigeria (0.0% per year).

In 2022, after two years of growth, there was decline in purchases abroad of organo-sulphur compounds and other organo-inorganic compounds, when their volume decreased by -2.7% to X tons. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.8% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations being observed in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 18% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then fell modestly in the following year.
In value terms, imports of organo-sulphur compounds and other organo-inorganic compounds rose sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.9% over the last decade.
