The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 1,358%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then declined markedly in the following year.

In value terms, other agglomerates imports contracted markedly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded a prominent expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 945% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then shrank rapidly in the following year.

In 2022, Spain (X tons) constituted the largest other agglomerates supplier to Portugal, with a 79% share of total imports. Moreover, other agglomerates imports from Spain exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the Netherlands (X tons), sixfold.
