Imports peaked at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, refined copper imports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a abrupt downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 46%. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, Germany (X tons) constituted the largest refined copper supplier to Portugal, with a 60% share of total imports.
