Angola (X units), Mozambique (X units) and Spain (X units) were the main destinations of signal generator exports from Portugal, together accounting for 60% of total exports. Israel, Norway, Cabo Verde, Algeria and Niger lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 32%.

In value terms, signal generator imports soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports recorded a noticeable decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 66%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2017 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
